Cyberbullying at basic schools

This thesis focuses on the theme of cyberbullying at selected basic schools in the Czech Republic. The conceptual basis rests upon Lawrence Kohlberg theory of moral development and theory of social pathology. Through the desk research of the relevant Czech and international research, and through experts interviewing, the aims of the thesis are mainly exploratory, i.e. to explore the nowadays situation in (incl. effects and prevention/fighting of) cyberbullying at sample basic schools in the Czech Republic.
Needs Assessment of towns, schools and churches involved in Fairtrade towns campaign

The thesis provides a need assessment of towns, schools and local religious congregations that joined the Fairtrade Towns campaign. It is framed into a broad topic beginning with global issues, going through the concept of fair trade to the subject of this research. The author reflects his approach and explains why the system theory and theory of autopoiesis was chosen as an interpretive framework for analysing data. Having regard to the methods, the thesis uses needs assessment approach. Its interpretive possibilities are later used. The author focuses on the formulation of hypotheses before the implementation of qualitative interviews as the main research method. Final hypotheses served as a guide for research. The author performs analysis of available resources and uses his own quantitative data analysis findings that used confirmatory factor analysis and logistic regression. Qualitative interviews were conducted and thematic analysis was made. Than aforementioned analyses approaches were used too. The needs of subjects that joined the campaign were found out, described and assessed.
Vliv implementace OHSAS 18001 do řízení vybraných podniků v odvětví stavebnictví

The diploma thesis deals with the definition of the impact of the OHSAS 18001 certificate implementation on the performance and competitiveness of business entities in the construction sector. The first part of the thesis considers the characteristics of the general concept of corporate social responsibility and definition of the corporate social responsibility situation in the Czech Republic and explains the content of the OHSAS 18001 standard including its implementation benefits. Study results examining the impact of OHSAS 18001 on business performance were also reported. The second part of the thesis considers using tools of financial analysis, econometric methods and expert interviews to determine the impact of OHSAS 18001 certification on the performance and competitiveness of construction enterprises. The work concludes by discussing the results and recommendations for companies considering the implementation of this certificate to their management.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the present education system, identify needs, propose changes and recommendations for improving the management of this section. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains knowledge gained from available Czech and foreign sources. The practical part is focused on the acquired information and describes the current system of education in selected company. Based on the analysis carried out in the form of qualitative and quantitative research, suggestions for improvement and efficiency of the management of this section are recommended. These recommendations are mentioned at the end of practical part of diploma thesis.

Marihuana: drug or medicine?

Diploma thesis "Marihuana: drug or medicine?" deals with recent change of a medicine law and with process enabling treatment by marihuana. It identifies stakeholders and advocacy coalitions involved in the law and public policy enforcement and explains what is the motivation for these coalitions and on which values is the motivation based. Using event analysis this thesis shows timeline of events moving towards the change of the law and reveals the stakeholders who are significant for the change. Their public speeches are analyzed and stakeholders are divided into advocacy coalitions on the basis of the analysis. The conclusion of the qualitative content analysis is verified by half structured interviews with stakeholders representing the coalitions. Three coalitions were identified in cannabis subsystem. First of them is liberal and tries to get the legalization trough, the second one tries to enable a treatment by marihuana for patients and the third coalition is skeptic to cannabis treatment. The thesis explains a participation of these coalitions on the change and their relations to each other.
Marketing Planning in FMCG: Case Study Lovela

The Master's Thesis'goal is to identify specifics of maketing planning in FMCG market and prepare marketing plan for brand Lovela in 2012. Thesis is divided into three related sections. The first part is purely theoretical and summarizes lessons learned from the available literature dealing with the topic of marketing planning and its phases. The second part is focused on description of each phase from experts'point of view. This part is based on interviews with three FMCG brand managers. The third part is devoted to the creation of the specific annual marketing plan.
